Privacy, without surprises.

Tickerworld is an independent browser game. You can explore anonymously, without an account or wallet. This policy explains the limited information the Tickerworld service handles, why it is needed, where it may go, and how to ask a question or make a complaint.

Launch boundaryPublic wallet login and purchases are disabled. If those features are ever enabled, this policy and the in-product notice will be updated before they collect information.

Who operates Tickerworld

The service operator is the Tickerworld project. Privacy requests and complaints can be sent to privacy@tickerworld.io. The project’s public source and issue tracker are at github.com/eshanhack/tickerworld; do not post private information in a public issue.

Information we collect and hold

How and why we use it

Information is collected from your browser and network connection only as you use the service. It is used to deliver live multiplayer play, remember local choices, show market and news content, prevent abuse, investigate reports, measure aggregate reliability and activation, and comply with law. Tickerworld does not sell personal information or use chat contents for advertising.

Sharing and overseas processing

Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers used to run Tickerworld, including Vercel for web hosting and privacy-oriented analytics, a Colyseus hosting provider for multiplayer, a managed database provider for safety and live-news records, X for requested public account and post data, and public market providers. These providers may process data outside Australia, primarily in the United States and in the hosting region selected for the multiplayer service. The active region and providers will be kept current on the service-status page.

Retention

Access, correction, deletion, and complaints

Email privacy@tickerworld.io with enough information to locate your record without sending secrets. We may need to verify that a request concerns you. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and respond within 30 days. You may ask for access, correction, or deletion where applicable.

If you believe information was mishandled, contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied after allowing a reasonable response time, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another authority available to you.

Children and security

Tickerworld is not designed to collect children’s personal information. Do not share personal, financial, wallet, seed-phrase, or contact information in chat. No internet service can promise perfect security, but the launch service limits collection, validates inputs, rate-limits abuse, and keeps paid wallet features off.

Changes

Material changes will update the date above and be publicised in the product or launch notes. This policy will be updated before collection practices materially expand.
